Effects of Urbanization on the Dynamics and Equity of Access to Urban Parks from 2000 to 2015 in Beijing, China

Urban parks provide multiple ecosystem services as an important element of the urban space and improve human health wellbeing. This study used Gaussian-based 2SFCA method to evaluate spatiotemporal distribution changes in park accessibility within Sixth Ring Road Beijing over 15 years. The also bivariate correlation analysis analyze relationship between urbanization factors access. results showed that overall both quantity proximity had increased from 2000 2015, but there were still certain areas (percentage) limited access parks. inequity been detected accompanying rapid increase 2015. Furthermore, development mismatched terms land increase. population is not significant.
